In this blog, I will be sharing how I can make my SMART goal of learning the next generation skills from the Amal Academy within a period of fewer than 3 months now! 😜
So, I have decided on this goal, as it is the need of the time due to the pandemic. 😩 At this time it is extremely important to hone our skills and learn new soft skills, and just learn to be used to the technology. 😄 The pandemic has forced us to move out of our comfort zone, as an engineer I had to face the worst last semester, as our final year project was due and we were all working remotely on a project and could not work together. 😐 We were all working on a robot, which was hardware that could only be accessed by one person. So, I realized that now instead of working on hardware, it was important to move towards the software part where programming languages are the need of time and can be done remotely. ✌️
However, I realized that I need to also come out of my comfort zone which is just engineering stuff like programming, electronic and mechanical devices. 😃 I need to also try to be creative, and explore other soft skills too. 😇 I thought learning the next generation skills could be helpful, plus having an experience of learning resume writing, how to build a career, and just being more clear and focused towards my future is important. 😎 ❤
In the past, I never thought that such skills would be useful, and I would ever require them, but now as we all can see that I was wrong! 😐
For being able to achieve the goal I will be dividing my task into 3 weeks. And in the first week, I have been successful in writing blogs, being more friendly with using teachable and medium. Also being more comfortable while using Zoom and using the tools and participating with the Amal Family. ❤
I had to face many challenges, for starters being able to just sit and work! 😆 😜 I had to plan out and give time to the learning group and decide a time for the meeting, plus manage my time for completing courses, and just forcing myself to work hard. 😎 ✌️
You do not need a platform to change your destiny that is what most people say, but for me I have a platform and need to just start to learn something new which might change my life forever! ❤ 😇
I try my best to work hard and perform well in the project works given to me by Amal Academy! 🌼 😃 And I pray to Allah to make this journey of mine very fruitful for me and my fellows! ❤
